Qualifications

• Nursing duties within long-term or rehabilitative settings.

Responsibilities

• Works under supervision of DON/ADON using state nurse practice act and procedures.
• Delivers nursing care to residents in long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Completes Assessments (CFAs) within frames and guidelines for residents.
• Collects resident data, observes, and reports pertinent information.
• Implements care plans and evaluates residents' responses.
• Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements and unit policies.
• Maintains equipment setup and maintenance knowledge.
• Maintains confidentiality and resident rights regarding information.
• Educates residents, families, or responsible parties as directed.
• Works rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Initiates emergency measures (e.g., CPR) to protect residents.
• Performs other duties as directed by the DON.
• Documents observations per unit policies; ensures complete records.
• Ensures nursing history is present in the medical record.
• Reports changes in residents' condition promptly.
