Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a practical (vocational) nursing program is required.
• Current license to practice as a nurse in the state is required.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents requiring long-term supports.
• Complete assessments (CFAs) within time-frames and guidelines.
• Collect resident data, make observations, and report pertinent information.
• Implement health-related active treatment plans and evaluate responses.
• Maintain knowledge of documentation requirements and confidentiality.
• Carry out emergency measures and coordinate with the care team.
