Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a qualified Legal Assistant to support our workers' compensation team. You will help manage intake, case files, and deadlines, and coordinate submissions across multiple systems.

This role requires meticulous organization and a commitment to client service. The ideal candidate has at least two years in legal support, experience with medical records, and proficient MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake interviews and open new matters.
• Manage calendars for hearings, mediations, and deposits.
• Prepare and track filings and discovery indexes.
• Organize medical records, chronologies, and treatment logs.
• Assist with billing by preparing and sending bills.
