Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Novi, MI to support the store management team and maintain efficient operations. You will drive sales, customer service, and daily retail tasks in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff in absence of management, maintaining displays, and ensuring policies are followed. Training is provided, including register procedures and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and retail experience.
• Ability to speak and write English.
• Basic computer skills including POS system and payroll.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Search.

Responsibilities

• Support management with product sales and acquisition.
• Open and close store procedures.
• Handle banking and daily deposits.
• Execute strategies to meet product acquisition, production and sales goals.
• Manage product rotation process and inventory turnover.
• Create an enjoyable shopping experience with positive customer service skills.
