Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students onsite in a contract role from August 12, 2025, to May 22, 2026. The position offers 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic educational setting.

You will work with educators and the Clinical Advisory Team to design and implement speech and language therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, conduct assessments, and document progress. This role includes participating in IEP meetings, mentoring staff, and pursuing ongoing

Qualifications

• Current Virginia SLPA license is required.
• Experience in school settings or with K-12 populations is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective speech/language therapy plans.
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to student success.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and delivering speech/language therapy for students in grades K-12
• Developing and managing individualized therapy programs aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
• Documenting therapy sessions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to IEP meetings
• Providing guidance and training to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and utilizing mentorship resources
