Job summary

Skyla Credit Union is seeking a Product Owner to lead IT delivery using Agile practices, driving improvements to member experience and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to define business processes, review feasibility, and shape technical specifications for tickets and projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with financial services vertical.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Project Management, Agile methodologies, and functional requirement gathering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must articulate ideas clearly to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Take high level requests and formalize business justification, requirements, and functional specifications with focus on security and scalability.
• Meet with departments regularly to review processes and update teams on backlog items.
• Participate in backlog grooming sessions and allocate resources.
• Identify efficiency improvements across financial services domains.
• Develop KPIs to track product/project success post go-live and adjust as needed.
• Gain deep knowledge of financial services tech, products, and CU infrastructure.
• Engage with vendors to understand roadmaps and capabilities.
• Assist in drafting test and deployment plans within technical requirements.
