Job summary

The Caring Place at The Miami Rescue Mission is seeking a Full Time Intake Assessment Coordinator for the Center for Men in Miami, FL. This role oversees intake and orientation, screens clients, conducts intake assessments, and helps ensure compliance and coordination with service providers.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and computer skills, plus a commitment to the mission of serving homeless individuals and families in South Florida.

Qualifications

• AA degree or on-the-job training in Social Work or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, social work or related field preferred.
• CAP training is a plus.
• Must understand homelessness and related services.

Responsibilities

• Screen clients for intake and orientation.
• Perform intake assessment and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with case managers and supervisor for resident assignments.
• Assist with insurance applications and referrals.
• Maintain filing system and progress tracking for residents.
