Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an Expanded Impact Teacher 3 to extend instructional leadership across multiple classrooms. Under moderate supervision and with a Multi-Classroom Leader, you will coach 1-2 teachers, design and deliver instruction, monitor progress, and adjust strategies to improve outcomes for every student.

You must be a member of the CMS Teacher Leader Pathway Talent Pool as an EIT3, and you will teach at least 50% of the day while leading collaborative initiatives and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• NC Professional Educator's License in the subject area and grade level required.
• At least 3 years of prior teaching experience with at least 2 years of demonstrated evidence of high-growth student outcomes in relevant subjects required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Design instruction and monitor student progress to determine instructional needs.
• Coach 1-2 teachers and lead professional development as part of instructional leadership.
