Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks an Expanded Impact Teacher 1 (EIT1) to plan, prepare, and deliver instruction with moderate supervision, under the guidance of a Multi-Classroom Leader. You will monitor student progress and collaborate with a team of teachers to raise learning outcomes.

The role is a 10-month, full-time position with supplemental pay for Non-Title I and Title I schools. Reports to the Principal and may work at CMS premises or other districts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• NC Professional Educator's License in subject area and grade level.
• Evidence of initiative and leadership of adults.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Review student progress and adjust instruction to improve outcomes.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction and monitor progress.
