The Villages of Indiana is seeking an Independent Living Case Manager to serve participants in the Older Youth Services (OYS) program. You will work as part of a treatment team to help youth access education, employment, financial, mental/emotional, and community resources, building skills for independence.

Responsibilities include developing rapport with youth, partnering with schools and community resources, and responding promptly to crises.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related human service field from an accredited four-year college.
• If BSW, then LBSW is needed, or candidate needs to be working towards licensure.
• Youth Services Casework experience with teens and young adults is strongly preferred.
• On-call hours are required.
• Effective verbal and written communication is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a team member by supporting youth in building skills to transition to independence by assisting access to educational, employment/career, financial, mental/emotional, and community resources.
• Develop rapport with youth using a strength-based approach.
• Partner with referring agencies, schools, and community resources to meet youth needs.
• Effectively and promptly respond to youth in crises situations.
