Job summary

Auberle’s Crawford County Independent Living program seeks a dedicated worker to build trusting relationships with youth aged 14–22, supporting independence and growth in education, employment, housing, and health. You will mentor youths and help them gain essential life skills in a supportive environment.

You will meet youth at homes or the drop-in center, coordinate with community partners, and document progress to track outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2 years of experience with youth, or an Associate/Bachelor degree with 1 year of youth experience.
• Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration and proof of insurance.
• Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with young people to foster engagement and growth.
• Conduct regular meetings with youth in homes, community settings, or the drop-in center to assess needs and celebrate successes.
• Collaborate with community partners to coordinate care and maximize support for young adults.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for tracking and reporting.
• Facilitate and promote programs at the drop-in center to engage youth with diverse needs.
• Teach youth adulting skills such as budgeting, home maintenance, and decision making.
