Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-facility care team. You will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help patients regain independence and function.

You will train patients and caregivers, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care. Qualifications include ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT registration, and a valid state license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans to restore independence.
• Deliver occupational therapy services and patient instruction to promote independence and productivity.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE-accredited)

Initial NBCOT registration

Current OT license as required by state
