enCircle is seeking a Special Education Case Manager to coordinate and oversee IEP implementation for students aged 5 to 22 at Minnick Schools in Roanoke, VA. The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and public school staff to tailor supports and services to each student’s needs.

The position emphasizes driving to various sites, maintaining confidentiality, and abiding by Virginia license requirements for Special Education. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, full-time.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Virginia teaching license with a Special Education endorsement required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with diverse students with diverse disabilities/backgrounds.
• Ability to serve as a mandated reporter of suspected or reported abuse and neglect.
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License and proof of insurance; clean driving record.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of a student’s IEP in a private day setting.
• Serve as liaison between teachers, support staff, parents, and LEA representatives.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings; develop and review individualized education plans.
• Collect and analyze student performance data; set data-driven goals for IEPs.
• Prepare and distribute IEP progress reports; maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with principals, teachers, and related service providers to implement accommodations and services.
• Ensure confidentiality of student and staff information and records.
