Job summary

Elderly Housing Development & Operations Corporation (EHDOC) seeks a Community Manager in Miami, FL to oversee HUD and LIHTC affordable housing properties. You will ensure regulatory compliance, tenant relations, and smooth daily operations for residents.

You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, handle budgets and reporting, and coordinate inspections to meet HUD and LIHTC standards while fostering a safe, supportive living environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in property management, specifically in affordable housing/HUD/LIHTC programs.
• Strong knowledge of HUD regulations, LIHTC compliance, and other affordable housing guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the property ensuring it is well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
• Manage leasing processes including screening, applications, leases, and move-ins/move-outs.
• Ensure HUD and LIHTC standards including annual recertifications and inspections.
• Supervise maintenance staff/contractors and manage budgets and expenses.
• Prepare and submit reports on compliance, occupancy, and financial performance.
• Coordinate inspections and respond to audits or issues while maintaining resident relations.
