Job summary

Gentherm is seeking an HSE & Facility Leader to drive a safe, compliant, and high performing workplace. You will lead EHS programs, investigations, and training while partnering with cross-functional teams to embed safety in daily operations.

You will influence safety culture, manage environmental programs, and ensure adherence to standards and customer requirements, contributing to Gentherm's mission of responsible, reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of EHS or workplace safety experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience delivering or facilitating employee training.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, procedures, and training.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and hazard analyses; implement corrective actions.
• Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, policies, and customer requirements.
• Manage waste, chemical handling, SDS/HDS, labeling, and environmental programs.
• Maintain EHS performance metrics, records, and compliance documentation.
• Oversee PPE requirements, emergency preparedness, response plans, and safety equipment.
• Supervise contractors and EHS-related service providers.
• Support facility operations and vendor management.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and audits.
