Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking a Safety Manager to lead Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs at our manufacturing facility. This role builds, implements, and sustains safety systems to support rapid production ramp and workforce growth.

The Safety Manager partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR, and leadership to ensure safe work practices, regulatory compliance, incident prevention, and continuous improvement. A hands-on leader with strong floor presence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and strong safety culture.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own site safety programs aligned with OSHA and company standards.
• Lead safety meetings, trainings, and daily reinforcement of safe practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations; manage audits and inspections.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis; track action closures.
• Deliver safety training for employees and leaders; onboarding safety.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, HR, and Maintenance to embed safety.
• Track KPIs like TRIR, incident rates, and audit findings; drive improvements.
• Develop emergency plans and coordinate drills and PPE readiness.
