Job summary

CFS is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a broad range of human resources functions in Houston. You will partner with managers and employees to handle employee relations, investigations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration.

The role requires strong communication, sound judgment, and a solid understanding of employment laws, with discretion when handling sensitive situations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR Generalist or similar broad-based HR role.
• Hands-on experience with employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Paychex experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
• Conduct and assist with employee relations investigations and workplace concerns
• Coach managers and employees on performance, workplace issues, and HR policies
• Support talent acquisition activities, including recruiting and hiring processes
• Coordinate employee onboarding and assist with offboarding activities
• Support performance management processes and documentation
• Assist with job descriptions and updates to HR-related materials
• Provide guidance related to employment policies and applicable employment laws
