Job summary

Community of Hope in Washington, DC is seeking a temporary, full-time Housing Stability Case Manager for the Short Term Family Housing Program. You will help families secure and maintain stable housing, increase self-sufficiency through income, benefits, and education, and strengthen family stability.

The position is located at Hope Apartments in Southeast, DC, with a hybrid work model and an anticipated end date of April 30, 2027. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $25.96–$26.92.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of college, or 2+ years homeless services experience.
• Minimum two years in housing/homelessness or social services field.
• Strong knowledge of community resources.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop family goal plans using a two-generation approach with measurable steps.
• Meet with families to support goal plan implementation and follow-up.
• Coordinate with community resources and track participation in services.
• Assist families with housing search and paperwork; accompany to viewings if needed.
• Conduct home visits and provide tenant education per program guidelines.
