Job summary

United Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Housing Construction Coordinator to oversee community housing projects and guide participants through construction and financing processes.

The role involves hands-on training and certifications while delivering meaningful improvements for families. You will visit homes, coordinate bid processes, monitor work quality, and manage timelines to ensure compliance with program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 1–2 years of post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum: 3–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess homes to identify construction needs and ensure work meets program guidelines and regulations.
• Manage housing projects by developing scopes of work, coordinating bidding, and overseeing rehabilitation projects from start to finish.
• Monitor construction work by conducting inspections to ensure quality, timely completion, and contractor compliance.
• Support participants by guiding households through construction and financing processes while addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Track and report progress by maintaining documentation, monitoring budgets and timelines, and submitting required reports.
