Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN in Oklahoma to evaluate and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in homecare settings.

You will provide aural rehab and AAC support, maintain licensure and CPR, and collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered services. This role offers flexible hours and competitive hourly pay, with a focus on meaningful patient impact in home environments.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assignment state.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and accredited practicum.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
