Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a home health setting on a PRN daytime schedule in Oklahoma. You will assess and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and you may provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support as needed.

Eligible candidates must maintain an active state license, CCC-SLP, and CPR certification. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with coursework and clinical practicum per CAA accreditation.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and implement AAC systems for those with expressive/language comprehension challenges.
• Other duties as assigned.
