Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide patient-centered care in the home setting. This PRN, Weekdays role focuses on evaluation, treatment, and prevention of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adults.

You will work with AAC and aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard of hearing individuals, adhere to licensure and CCC-SLP requirements, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, wellness rewards, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with coursework and CFY supervision.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
