Job summary

Best Home Health Providers, Inc. is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to work with a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients recover mobility in their homes across the Bay Area and beyond. The role offers a per‑diem rate of $95 per visit and opportunities for growth based on performance.

The PTA will deliver hands‑on therapy, guide exercises, apply therapeutic modalities, and monitor progress while coordinating with the care team. Travel to patient homes is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA‑accredited PTA program
• Active PTA license from the Physical Therapy Board of California
• Current CPR certification with AHA
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to patient homes

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and gait training
• Apply modalities (heat/cold/ultrasound/electrical stimulation/massage) to relieve pain and restore function
• Monitor patient progress and inform the Physical Therapist and care team
• Document care accurately and on time; participate in team meetings and training
• Perform other duties as required for patient services
