Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws and the plan of care as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record and report patient responses; coordinate care with the health care team.
• Educate patient, family and caregivers in therapy within the PT Assistant scope.
