Optum is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for HomeCall, a partner within the Optum family, to provide and educate patients under a supervising Physical Therapist. You will operate in a home-health environment with a weekday schedule and access to meaningful benefits, with opportunities for growth within a national care team.

You will perform treatment, patient education, and exercise instruction aimed at improving well-being while adhering to the established plan of care.

Formación

• Currently licensed, registered or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation
• Availability to work a weekend rotation

Responsabilidades

• Follow state laws and the plan of care under the supervising PT
• Instructs and assists patients with active and passive exercises and gait training
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate care with the health team
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy activities and safety
