Job summary

Deaconess HomeCare - Selmer is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered therapy in a home-care setting under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will administer evidence-based treatments and educate patients and families on therapy plans.

The role requires current OTA licensure, TN NBCOT certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients to restore their fullest physical ability.
• Follow state laws and supervision plan for OT assistants.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatment.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapy activities.
• Function effectively with diverse patient populations.
