Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and adhere to the supervising OT's treatment plan.
• Instruct and assist patients per the plan of care within OT assistant scope and state laws.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health-care team on therapy related to OTA scope.
• Maintain ability to function in home settings regardless of patient demographics.
