RISE Community Services in Warrensburg, MO seeks a Home & Community Services Supervisor to oversee daily operations, staffing, service quality and compliance for in-home and community programs. You will lead Direct Support Professionals, manage schedules, and ensure safe, person-centered services across settings.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and collaboration with families and partners.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience with individuals with disabilities or in human services.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Valid driver’s license; Missouri Class E license within 14 days of hire.
• Complete required trainings; demonstrate leadership and scheduling skills.
• Address performance concerns professionally and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across home and community sites with high quality service delivery.
• Provide direct leadership, coaching, accountability, and support to DSPs.
• Manage staffing schedules, call-offs, and coverage for continuity.
• Ensure attendance, professionalism, documentation, and compliance.
• Address performance concerns with coaching and corrective action.
• Monitor documentation, incidents, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Implement individualized support plans and behavior support strategies.
• Oversee staff onboarding, training, and professional development.
• Serve as communication link with families, guardians, and partners.
• Support crisis intervention and safe, professional responses.
• Coordinate transportation and community access needs securely.
• Identify gaps and implement solutions to sustain quality outcomes.
