Job summary

Lifesteps Inc is seeking a Full-Time Home Family Educator to support the Early Head Start program in Beaver Falls, PA. The role involves home-based visits, child development services, and collaboration with families to promote infant and toddler development.

The Home Visitor will drive to appointments from the Beaver Falls area and work Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• AA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development and Family Relations, Special Education, Social Work or related field.
• Ability to plan and implement home-based learning experiences that improve children's progress.
• Knowledge of infant/toddler development, health, nutrition, safety, and family dynamics.
• Knowledge of community resources to connect families with needed services.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide child development and supportive services to families with infants, toddlers, and expectant mothers.
• Implement the Early Head Start home-based curriculum with typically developing children and those with disabilities.
• Connect families with community partners for health, social services, parenting involvement, and related support.
• Complete documentation and maintain records for program activities.
