Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking a Family Support Specialist for a full-time position based in Beaver, PA. The specialist will coordinate services for mothers referred by Children and Youth Services and create personalized care plans. Responsibilities also include assessing infant safety and providing educational guidance to parents.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and excellent communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and two (2) years of experience in a Human Services profession.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enrollment and provide services to mothers referred by Children and Youth Services.
• Create and update a Plan of Safe Care in collaboration with the mother.
• Assess infant safety and monitor developmental stages.
