Job summary

Lifeway Mobility in Northern Virginia is seeking a Home Sales Consultant to assess mobility needs, demonstrate accessibility products, and tailor proposals for customers in their homes. You will partner with our operations team to ensure smooth transitions from sale to installation.

The role emphasizes building trust with clients, presenting financing options, and generating leads through referrals and community outreach while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, preferably in-home or mobility equipment.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Able to conduct detailed needs assessments and tailor solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with software systems and maintaining client records.
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations related to home accessibility is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
• Post-secondary degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with 2-3 clients and their families each day to assess mobility needs and recommend customized solutions.
• Demonstrate home accessibility products that enhance safety and independence.
• Develop accurate estimates based on in-depth needs assessments.
• Work closely with Lifeway operations team to ensure seamless transitions from sale to installation.
• Address customer questions, overcome objections, and offer financing and rental options.
• Generate 20% of your own leads through referrals, repeat business, and community outreach.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience to foster trust and long‑term relationships.
