Job summary

Weld County School District Re3J is seeking a Half-time Severe Needs Special Education Paraprofessional at Meadow Ridge Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the supervision of a licensed teacher, you will support students with severe needs in academic and social settings and help maintain safety.

Responsibilities include tutoring, grading, recording student behavior, and assisting in instructional materials and clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or 2 years of college preferred.
• Technology experience and software training preferred.
• Experience with severe needs students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with severe needs in academic and social settings under licensed teacher supervision.
• Tutor students individually and in groups and correct/grade classwork.
• Maintain daily records of student behavior and assist in instructional materials and clerical duties.
