Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant program; degree must meet Medicare and state requirements.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience in therapeutic care of older adults across multiple diagnostic groups preferred.
• Valid current state license (for the state in which the community provides service) in physical therapy, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day physical therapy treatments to meet residents' needs across settings on the Erickson Senior Living continuum.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on individual strengths and routines.
• Follow Medicare and state regulations, APTA guidance, and company policies; ensure compliance in care provision, documentation, billing, and resident rights.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs throughout their care.
