Job summary

Gardens Alive seeks a Retail Events Coordinator to develop and implement a dynamic calendar of customer-facing events across its garden centers. You will coordinate with store teams, instructors, vendors, and community partners to create engaging, brand-aligned programming.

Responsibilities include end-to-end event management, budgeting, staffing, ticketing, and post-event analysis, with regular travel to multiple centers. Evening and weekend hours required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing or retail programming.
• Ability to manage events from concept through execution and post-event analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple locations, vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an annual events calendar across garden center locations.
• Own events from concept to execution, including timelines, budgets, staffing, and wrap-up.
• Attend events as needed for setup, instruction support and photography/content capture.
• Create and maintain event listings in the ticketing platform and monitor registrations.
• Source speakers, instructors and vendors to enhance programming and education.
• Track performance metrics and provide post-event reviews for continuous improvement.
