Samaritas in Southwest Michigan, with a main office in Kalamazoo, is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to support children and families in the foster care system. You will manage a caseload, collaborate with caregivers and community partners, and advocate for needed services.

A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human services field is required, Michigan licensure preferred, and at least 1 year of child welfare experience is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of foster care cases, providing ongoing support and advocacy.
• Build relationships with children, caregivers, and families to support stability and well-being.
• Offer guidance, referrals, and mentoring to those involved in each case.
• Coordinate initial placements and any necessary changes in placement.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, providing updates and documentation.
• Support children and caregivers through transitions with hands-on involvement.
