Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in child welfare or related service environment preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to engage with children and families professionally, compassionately, and respectfully.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, people-centered role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise visits and appointments between children, foster parents, and birth families in homes, offices, and community settings.
• Provide transportation for foster children to medical appointments, family visits, and other services.
• Observe interactions and document visits per agency policies.
• Share observations and updates with assigned social workers to support case planning.
• Assist with gathering important records (court reports, school records, medical information).
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and help connect families to services.
• Support foster care program operations in alignment with organizational and contractual requirements.
