Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters degree; 1 year experience preferred.
• Bachelors degree; 4 years experience, 2 in child welfare required.
• Michigan social work licensure preferred.
• Ability to provide on-call support as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual and team supervision.
• Lead team meetings, training and staff development.
• Oversee child placement and caseload assignments.
• Partner with licensing courts and DHS to ensure compliance.
• Deliver case management services including counseling and referrals.
• Support children, birth families and foster families through placements.
• Attend court hearings and ensure timely accurate documentation.
• Provide leadership guidance and direction to case management staff.
