Job summary

NCR Atleos in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Field Service Technician II to service and repair electromechanical equipment including ATMs and self-checkout systems. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain devices, with travel within a defined territory and periodic overnight assignments.

Training is provided to grow technical skills. The role requires 1+ year of related experience, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work rotating shifts in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to the specific geographic area.
• One (1) or more years of related experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 19 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs; managers will strive to communicate in advance whenever possible to minimize schedule disruptions.
• May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage; all travel follows established company policy and reimbursement guidelines
