Job summary

The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY seeks an Events Manager to lead planning, production, and evaluation of donor-facing and internal events, partnering with sponsors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage end-to-end event execution, develop run-of-show timelines, monitor budgets, analyze attendee metrics, and drive growth in engagement and sponsorship opportunities while maintaining institutional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience managing corporate events.
• Experience with event management platforms such as Cvent.
• Knowledge of fundraising, sponsorship fulfillment, and partner activation programs.
• Experience managing executive level and VIP events.
• CMP certification or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of key fundraising events, sponsorship activations, hospitality events, client programs and internal meetings.
• Develop timelines, run-of-shows, and staffing plans; coordinate event production across venues, AV, and logistics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders on deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
• Oversee attendee experience, registration, logistics, and on-site operations.
• Ensure events are on time, within budget, and aligned with institutional goals.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement in event delivery.
• Oversee sponsorship fulfillment and ensure delivery of partner benefits.
• Build relationships with sponsors, donors, venues, and suppliers.
• Develop audience growth strategies to increase participation across events.
• Track and report key event metrics and ROI.
