Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking an Evaluation Manager to oversee program planning, evaluation, and monitoring for grant-funded initiatives. You will coordinate with staff across the organization to ensure data is collected and reported as required.

The role emphasizes developing and delivering training on evaluation methods and supporting AltaMed staff with technical evaluation expertise. A strong background in health-focused NGOs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care, social services, or public health; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven evaluation and project management experience in nonprofit/health care sectors.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt certification and PMP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day oversight, management, and coordination for program planning, evaluation, knowledge management, and monitoring for grant-funded programs and other AltaMed initiatives.
• Serve as day‑to‑day liaison between the evaluation team and AltaMed staff, bringing in other Evaluation team staff as necessary.
• Develop, implement, and manage a monitoring and evaluation infrastructure in collaboration with Institute and other AltaMed staff.
