Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Massachusetts ESL license at the appropriate grade level.
• Authorized to work in the United States by first day of employment.
• Ability to model excellent spoken and written English for students learning English in school.

Responsibilities

• Teach ESL to Multilingual Learners identified as English Learners.
• Collaborate with content teachers to align language development with classroom instruction.
• Coordinate with instructional leadership to support language learners and administer ACCESS.
• Plan lessons aligned to WIDA standards for varying proficiency levels.
• Integrate technology as an instructional tool.
• Attend professional development to stay current with ELL teaching strategies.
