Job summary

Jan-Care Ambulance, Inc. is seeking EMT professionals to join our team. As an EMT, you will provide safe and compassionate ambulance transport and assist in emergency and non-emergency medical care in WV.

You will work within a culture of belonging and serve rural and metropolitan communities. Responsibilities include patient assessment, on-scene care, and coordination with medical facilities while adhering to state guidelines and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of EMS operations and ambulance equipment.
• Ability to learn through training and adapt to EMS protocols.
• Must meet state OEMS requirements and maintain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and EMS operations training.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per state protocols.
• Lifting/carrying requirements; mobility on diverse surfaces and environments.
• Communicate clearly with patients, co-workers, and medical staff.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls as part of a team.
