Job summary

Jan-Care Ambulance is seeking an EMT to provide safe and compassionate ambulance transport and basic out-of-hospital care across WV and neighboring areas. You will operate under state EMS protocols and coordinate with medical command to ensure patient safety and dignity.

The role requires 18+ years old with a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license, and EMT-8 certification. Onboarding includes training, background checks, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving history as determined by our insurer.
• Must pass background checks and hold EMT-8 certification with OEMS.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation, EMS operations training and maintain EMS certification.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per state protocols.
• Assist in emergency scene operations and coordinate with other personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness of EMS equipment and ambulances.
• Respond to emergency and event standby assignments as required.
