Job summary

Dover-Eyota Public Schools is seeking a qualified candidate for an Elementary Special Education Teacher Long Term Substitute for the 2026–2027 school year at Dover-Eyota Elementary School.

The position will serve as the classroom teacher for Special Education, with a prorated starting salary based on a BA Step 2 of our DEEA Contract. Tentative dates are October 5, 2026 through December 22, 2026, with application deadline September 24, 2026.

Qualifications

• Minnesota teaching licenses listed or eligible as per state requirements.
• Licensure must align with K-12 Special Education or elementary/licensing range.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the classroom teacher for Special Education
• Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction
• Collaborate with staff and support teams
• Work under the direction of the elementary principal
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students
