Roaring Fork School District is seeking a Licensed English Language Development (ELD) Teacher for Bridges High School for the 2026-2027 school year. Position is full-time (0.8 FTE) with a 185-day contract and salary range $54,000–$83,500.

The role emphasizes developing students' English language skills, planning instruction aligned with district outcomes, and integrating technology to support diverse learners in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in middle school settings, with strong preference for ELL exposure.
• Understanding of second language acquisition theories and effective methods for teaching ELLs.
• Differentiates instruction to meet diverse learner needs and language levels.
• Collaborates with general education teachers and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Demonstrate knowledge of content and evidence-based instructional practices.

Bachelor's degree
