Roaring Fork School District seeks a Licensed English Language Development (ELD) Teacher at Bridges High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full-time exempt (0.8 FTE / 32 hours) serving secondary ELD students and reports to the Bridges High School Principal.

You will plan and deliver evidence-based instruction, differentiate for language learners, collaborate with general education staff, integrate technology, and contribute to a supportive learning environment that advances

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Colorado teacher license, authorization, or the ability to obtain.
• Endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, or the ability to obtain.
• Official transcripts must be provided upon hire.
• Visa candidates: An initial (3-year) license is the minimum requirement for employment offers.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and provide instruction that is aligned with District outcomes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of content, central concepts, tools of inquiry, evidence-based instructional practices.
• Promote student development in literacy and mathematics.
• Differentiate instruction to ensure all students progress; plan intervention strategies.
• Provide opportunities for high-quality projects challenging students to pursue language growth and critical thinking.
• Other related duties may be assigned.
