Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking elementary, middle, and high school teachers for the 2026-2027 school year across San Francisco, Oakland, San Lorenzo, San Jose, Redwood City, East Palo Alto, and Stockton. You will design daily lessons, analyze data to drive instruction, and implement Social Emotional Learning and restorative practices to foster a joyful, inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Hold a BA/BS from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid teaching credential or eligibility for Provisional Internship Permit or Eligibility for a Short Term Staff Permit.

Responsibilities

• Daily lesson planning aligned to KIPP's academic vision and goals.
• Analyze data regularly to inform instructional practices.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, rigorous classroom with Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Implement culturally responsive classroom management for all students.
• Communicate with staff, students, families, and other stakeholders.
• Attend weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Update student records regularly (attendance, grades, behavior).
