Job summary

Parents And Children Together is seeking an Early Head Start Home Visitor in Hauula, Hawaii. This regular full-time, non-exempt role focuses on providing home-based early childhood education services to prenatal families and young children, aligning with Head Start and EHS/HS programs.

Under supervision of the Area Manager, you will implement individualized content, collaborate with families, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDA certificate to be completed within first year of employment.
• One-year full-time experience with children at appropriate age level, required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized early childhood education services to Head Start families and act as educator and advocate.
• Coordinate weekly lesson plans centered on child development and family engagement.
• Ensure prenatal, well-child exams, immunizations, health screenings, and nutrition assessments are completed.
• Complete family partnership agreements and learning plans with families per program policies.
• Maintain accurate written/electronic records (health info, assessments, schedules).
• Plan two monthly group socializations and engage families through activities and meals.
• Use curricula to meet needs of each child and link to community resources; support special needs services.
