Job summary

Child & Family Service in Hawaii is seeking a Lead Caregiver - OAHU FT to join our Early Head Start team. This role leads planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate daily curriculum for infants and toddlers, while guiding classroom staff and volunteers.

Under the supervision of the EHS Program Director, you will ensure a nurturing learning environment, oversee routines, and mentor a collaborative team to help families and children thrive.

Qualifications

• High school plus 2 years of college in a specialized field or apprenticeship program.
• CDA and 24 months full-time experience with children under 5 in licensed care.
• Patch registry qualifications must be Lead Caregiver Qualified.
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate daily curriculum for infants and toddlers.
• Oversee classroom operations and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to classroom staff.
