Job summary

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a Development Coordinator (Temporary – Maternity Leave Coverage) to support the Development team in planning and executing fundraising events, donor stewardship, and daily development operations. The role emphasizes organization, clear communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

The position is a temporary, part-time role (~20 hours/week), offering in-person and some remote work with a competitive starting pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1+ year experience in development or marketing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at JCC’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fundraising events from planning through post-event evaluation.
• Update back-end Development web presence (Soapbox and Salesforce) and pull data.
• Manage event budgets and timelines and logistics.
• Assist with administrative tasks and fundraising activities (vision and mission, websites, registrations, communications).
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to secure sponsorships and in-kind donations.
• Assist with smaller development and Boston Jewish Film Events as needed.
• Prepare materials for CEO and CDO meetings and donor communications.
